VOLT SURGE
This test will produce voltage surge defined by Table 9-18. This test will be repeated three times with
ten second s intervals. The voltage values are halved for 14.0V category B equipment.

9.6.3 E mergency Test
The Emergency test is selected from the DO-160 DC Main Menu. This test will set the output voltage
to 18V for 28V equipment and to 9V for 14V equipment. The test will last for 30 minutes. The
(backspace) will terminate the test at any time.
