LASER CARDS FOR HP 4000 TWINAX AND COAX PRINTERS
Follow the steps below to perform the interface self-diagnostic:
1. Turn OFF the printer.
2. Disconnect the host cable(s) from the twinax V-adapter. Remove all other
cables from the printer.
3. Press Menu on the printer's operator panel to scroll to the TWINAX CARD.
4. Press Item - to display "TEST MENU".
5. Press Value + twice to change the display to "DIAGNOSTIC".
6. Press Select to select his setting. The display will show "DIAGNOSTIC*".
7. Press Go to start the diagnostic test. The interface will go into a continuous
diagnostics cycle until you turn OFF the printer.
