Gearbox input shaft left bearing assembly

Caution
Temperature differences as well as casing overheating may lead to struc-
ture changes and to cracks due to internal stresses.
Evenly heat casing, making sure not to exceed the recommended value.
• Heat crankcase.

Release/connection

• Fit bearing (1) - open side facing the crankcase - with a suitable tool.

• Heat crankcase.

• Fit bearing (1) using a suitable tool.

Clutch check inside primary drive unit

Check
• Check idler gear
Result: Idler gear swings.
Action:
Replace idler gear (crankcase cover removed)
