Cleaning the Printing Heads
If the printing on envelopes or labels looks unclear or dirty in some way, clean the
headset to restore the head condition.
If the headset has to be cleaned too often, change the automatic cleaning interval as
indicated.

> Cartridge> Cleaning process
The cleaning starts automatically.

> Maintenance > Cartridge > Cleaning process

Open base cover.

Remove the ink cartridge (see How to Change the Ink Car-
tridge p.168).

Clean the heads with a soft damp cloth.

Put the cartridge back in place.
