8.20 The Display is Faint

• Verify the input source is terminated only once.
• If the input is not a video source, use a different sync tip clamp location.

8.21 The Upper Portion of the Display is Waving, Tearing, or Jittering

This can occur with video or VCR sources. Check your source.

8.22 Portions of the Display are Cut OFF or Warped to the Opposite Edge

If you have resized the image, adjust the resizing settings until the entire image is visible and centered. See
Section 6.14.7 Screen File Setup

8.23 Display Appears Compressed (Vertically Stretched)

• Adjust the frequency of the pixel sampling clock for the input source.
• Verify the size and position settings are correct for the input source.
• Use an anamorphic lens for HDTV and anamorphic DVD input sources that have been re-sized and verti-
cally stretched.

8.24 Inconsistent Picture Quality

• Verify the quality of the signal from the input source.
• Verify the H and V frequencies of the input source are correct.
