Description
IntelliLink® Control
Centre does not
respond when
removed from sys-
tem.
Unable to access
display, or keyboard
does not respond.
Display is hard to
read.
Blank screen.
Cannot set postage
amount.
Modem refill fails
with Intellilink® Con-
trol Centre on or off
mailing system.

Possible Causes
No power is going to IntelliLink®
Control Centre.
The system is currently in the
maintenance mode.
Adjust the display contrast.
IntelliLink® Control Centre is not
locked into place properly.
Postage amount entered at the
IntelliLink® Control Centre equals
or exceeds the high value warning
limit. A high value warning dis-
plays.
Mailing system did not recognize
IntelliLink® Control Centre when
turned on.
The IntelliLink® Control Centre is
locked due to required inspection.
Insufficient funds.
IntelliLink® Control Centre or
mailing system is not functioning
properly.
Wrong Postage By Phone® tele-
phone number entered in set up.
Refill amount exceeds the funds
in the account.
Solution
Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into
the back of the control centre.
Test the outlet to make sure it has power.
If the problem persists, call the Help Desk.
Refer to the Pitney Bowes Contact Information
List in this guide.
Allow system to complete maintenance opera-
tion.
Adjust the display contrast; refer to Adjusting
the Display Contrast section in Chapter 5.
Remove the IntelliLink® Control Centre and
reposition it.
1. Slide release lever forward to release
IntelliLink® Control Centre.
2. Slide IntelliLink® Control Centre back into
place until you hear it click.
Press Enter to accept the high value, OR
Enter lower postage amount.
Turn the mailing system off. Wait 30 seconds
and turn it on again to re-initialize the
IntelliLink® Control Centre.
Do a zero-value refill to fulfill inspection require-
ments.
Download funds from the Postage By Phone®.
See Chapter 6, Adding Postage.
Call for service.
To enter correct telephone number:
1. Press Setup key.
2. Select Phone Setup.
3. Select Refill Phone Number.
4. Enter correct number: 1. 866.801.7977.
1. Press the Funds key to obtain a balance of
your account
2. Select Get Postage By Phone Balance.
