Clustering (Dual Host) Configuration
When using this configuration, ensure that file locking is setup in this clustering
environment (e.g., Microsoft Windows NT/MSCS, Sun Microsystems Solaris/
DiskSuite, etc.).
Prior to beginning the cabling, identify the configuration for your installation.
Note the card locations, then install your cards and connect the cabling based on
the diagrams and procedures.
Differential SCSI
Two host and one subsystem
This configuration provides a Differential SCSI solution using a single dual-bus
CR8e subsystem connected to both host computers, each with Differential SCSI
host adapters. From this configuration an array can be created using eight (8) disk
drives. This configuration also creates what is known as a fail-over/fail-back
solution.
