Troubleshooting

Problem
The LCD on the remote
control, or the viewfinder,
displays no image at all.

Possible reason
The camera may have been switched off
automatically due the settings in the
Power setup dialog box.
The LCD may have been switched off
automatically due to the settings in the
Power setup dialog box.
The connector on the remote control ca-
ble may not be properly inserted into the
remote control connector camera.
There is no battery in the battery compart-
ment.
There is a battery in the battery compart-
ment, but the battery is depleted.
If you are using the power supply, the
power supply connector may not be
properly inserted into the power connec-
tor on the camera.
If you are using the power supply, the
mains plug may not be properly plugged
in into a mains supply.
If you are using the power supply, the
mains cable may not be properly
plugged in into the power supply.
Solution
Press ON/OFF to switch on
the camera.
Press ON/OFF to switch on
the camera.
Verify that the connector
on the remote control ca-
ble is properly inserted.
Insert a fully charged bat-
tery.
Charge the battery.
Verify that the power sup-
ply connector is properly
inserted.
Verify that the mains plug
is properly plugged in.
Verify that the mains ca-
ble is properly plugged in.
