MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES (Continued)

Change the engine oil and engine oil filter.
Lubricate the steering linkage joints and outer tie rod
ends.
Lubricate the steering and suspension ball joints.
Inspect the brake linings.
Replace the engine air filter element.
Inspect the PCV valve, and replace if necessary (2.4L
Only).
Replace the spark plugs.
Inspect the drive belt, and replace as needed. Not
required if previously replaced.
Flush and replace the engine coolant if not done at 60
months.
Drain and refill the automatic transmission fluid, change
filter, and adjust bands.
Inspect the transfer case fluid.
