4.3.2 ELECTRICAL DEFECTS

Sensors
The "CN" numbers describe the connector number on the engine board.

5-25 Paper Exit
5-30 Paper Overflow
14-29 Registration
14-14 Mlt Paper end sensor

Condition
The Paper Jam indicator will light
Open
whenever a print is made.
The Paper Jam indicator lights even if
Shorted
there is no paper.
The paper overflow message is not
Open displayed even when a paper overflow
condition exists.
The paper overflow message is
Shorted
displayed.
The Paper Jam indicator will light
Open
whenever a print is made.
The Paper Jam indicator lights even if
Shorted
there is no paper.
The Paper End indicator lights even if
Open
paper is placed in the Mlt paper tray.
The Paper End indicator does not light
Shorted even if there is no paper in the 1st
paper tray.
