DV MODE OPERATION

Low-speed data communication

In addition to the digital voice communication, low-speed data
communication is available.
The optional OPC-1529R

Configure the low-speed data communication application as
follows.
• Port : The same COM port number as IC-E80D's
• Baud rate : 9600/4800 bps
• Data : 8 bit
• Parity : None
• Stop : 1 bit
• Flow control : Xon/Xoff

[PTT] is activated to send data and the user doesn't have
to operate the radio.
