Network Upgrade
Network Upgrade allows you to upgrade the DVR firmware over the network. When
firmware upgrades are released, they are available as a free download from
www.lorextechnology.com
To upgrade firmware over the network:

Click Setup and select Network Upgrade.

Under IP Address, enter the DVR's IP address.

Under Port, enter the Client Port (default: 3000).

Under User ID, enter the User Name (default: admin).

Under Password, enter the Password (default: 00000). A password is required to perform
upgrades.

Click ... next to Upgrade File Path and select the firmware file.

Click Upgrade to begin the firmware upgrade. Do not power off the DVR or remove the
power cable while the upgrade is in progress.
NOTE: The connection will end when the firmware upgrade begins. The DVR will restart when
the firmware upgrade is complete.
DVR Setup Manager
You can remotely configure DVR settings using the DVR Setup Manager.
Record Tab
Use the record tab to configure recording settings for your cameras.
Only perform a Network Upgrade over a Local Area Network
(LAN), when the computer is connected using an Ethernet
cable. Firmware upgrade may fail and cause damage to the
DVR if done over the Internet or a Wi-Fi network.
Remote Viewing Using Internet Explorer
DVR IP address
Client Port (Default: 3000)
User Name (Default: admin)
Password (Default: 00000)
Select firmware file
Click Upgrade
