2. In the Admin Settings window, set the following options and parameters
o Language – Select the desired language for the user interface. Press
OK or Apply for the change to take place immediately.
o Enable Password for Advanced Configuration – Selecting this
option restricts the access to the advanced configuration options of
the unit, which are: Admin (the current window), H.323, System,
Calls and ISDN.
Password – Enter the password that will restrict the access to
the advanced configuration. When typing the password, each
letter is visible for one second and then turn into an asterisk (*).
o Advanced Services – opens a new window with the following
options:
Enable Web Server – Select this option to allow Web access to
the xPoint unit via a browser. If you enter a password, Web users
will be required to enter the same password when they access the
unit (for more information, see
Management).
Enable Telnet Interface – Select this option to allow access to
the xPoint unit via a Telnet-based terminal. If you enter a
password, Telnet users will be required to enter the same
password when they access the unit.
o Time – If not already set, enter the current time.
o Date – If not already set, enter the current date.
