This chapter describes the different quick dialing methods that are available in
xPoint
Using the Address Book
The address book enables you to make calls to addresses stored on the local
system. You can add frequently used addresses to the address book from where
calls can be made directly.
Using the Address Book via the Remote Control
You can select the address book using the remote control.

To select the address book via the remote control:
1.
On the remote control, press Phone Book (
Book window appears.

In the Personal tab, select the number to dial, and then press OK on the
remote control; the number of the contact is copied to the number field
in the New Call bar.
Note: when the address book is open, typing a letter in the ABC field
causes it to 'jump' to the first letter entered.
3.
Press Make Call (
When the call is answered on the far end, the system switches to Call mode.
