Chapter 3. Configuration Basics
Configuring the Display
The display settings determine the method by which video is displayed on the
screen. Adjust the display settings depending on the room you are using for
videoconferencing and on your distance from the screen.

o Audio Input Device – Select which audio device you want to
configure:
Mic – A microphone is connected to the system via the
microphone input.
Line In Mixer – An amplified device is connected to the system
via the line-in audio input.
DVD – An external multimedia device is connected to the
system as an additional input device, both for video and audio.
Can be any of DVD, VCR or other players.
o Microphone Level – Adjust the microphone sensitivity level in
percentage (%).
o Acoustic Echo Cancellation – Select the check box to prevent
echo when the microphone and speaker are in the same room.
o Lip Synchronization – If the voice you hear is not synchronized
with the lip movement in the video display, move the slider as
follows:
Towards Delay Video if voice is heard after the lip movement
Towards Delay Audio if you see the appropriate lip movement
after you hear the voice.
o Audio Noise Suppression – Suppress unwanted background
noises.

Select Apply.
Note: the term "screen" refers to any type of monitor you are using (CRT,
LCD, and so on).
To access the display settings:
1.
Press OK on the remote control; the main menu appears.
2.
Using the remote control's joystick, select Settings> Display, and
then press OK; the Display Settings window appears.
