Troubles for which error messages are given on the LCD

If something is wrong with the device, the buzzer sounds and a corresponding error mes-
sage is given on the LCD.
Take an appropriate corrective measure in accordance with the message.

Cause
The mounted ink cartridge is
defective.
The amount of ink remaining
in the ink cartridge is insuffi-
cient.
The ink cartridge has run out
of ink.
The ink cartridge will expire
soon or has expired.
Time to replace the wiper in
the capping station with a
new one has come.

Press the [ENTER] key to
display the details of the error.
Check the error.
Printing can be continued in file-
by-file basis by pressing the
[REMOTE] key. However, it is
recommended to replace the ink
cartridge of which color is
shown on the LCD with a new
one.
