Troubles for which error message are given on the LCD

If something is wrong with the printer, the buzzer sounds and a corresponding error message
is given on the LCD.
Take an appropriate corrective measure in accordance with the message.

Ink cartridge is not loaded on
the ink station.

Cause
Attach the ink cartridge(s) corre-
sponding with the number(s)
shown on the display.
Install the ink cartridge remaining
amount is sufficient for ink fill up.
Printing can be continued in file-
by-file basis by pressing the [RE-
MOTE] key. However, it is recom-
mended to replace the wiper as
soon as possible. (page 4.11)
Check the color of the ink
cartridge with the number
displayed.
Check the type of the ink
cartridge loaded.
Printing can be continued in
file-by-file basis by pushing
the [REMOTE] key. How-
ever, it is recommended to
replace the ink cartridge of
which number is shown on
the LCD with a new one.
Insert an ink cartridge with
the displayed number again.
If the same error message
appears again on the LCD,
contact your local distributor
to call for service.
