Note: PTP is supported by Windows XP and later. Your Windows XP
computer may also support MTP if it also supports Microsoft Media
Player 10.
1 Start the Settings app and tap Storage.
2 Tap .
3 Tap USB computer connection and then select Camera (PTP).
You need the Android SDK, the Intermec SDK Addon, and Intermec
Java Resource Kits to develop applications for the CN51 running
Android.
To download and install the Android SDK, visit
developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. After you install the
Android SDK, you use SDK Manager to download and install the
Intermec SDK Addon.
Use the Intermec Java Resource Kits to develop Android applications
for the computer. The Resource Kits are part of the Intermec
Developer Library (IDL) and can be downloaded from the Intermec
website at www.intermec.com/idl.
The Resource Kits are libraries of Java components grouped by
functionality. Resource Kits for use with Android include:
Data Collection: Provides functionality for using the imager in
your application.
Printing: Provides text-based report printing functionality for your
application.
After you develop applications, you can install the apps using:
ScanNGo bar codes.
management applications.
web installs.
ADB push to the device.
