The DVR automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. It is also at the very top of the menu hierarchy, thus pressing the ESC many times (depending on which menu you’re on) brings you to the Live View mode.

Before you start: Make sure that the HDD has already been installed. If not, please install a HDD and initialize it.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the DVR can analyze it and do many actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.
