Do not tap paper stacks on the printer.
Do not tilt, lubricate, or disassemble the printer.
Do not touch the electrical contacts, gears, or laser beam devices. Doing
so may damage the printer and cause the print quality to deteriorate.
Keep media in the output tray at minimum level. If the media stacks too
high, your printer may experience media jams and excessive media curl.
Make sure two people are available to
lift the printer when moving it.
When moving the printer, keep the
printer level to avoid toner spillage.
When lifting the printer, grasp the
handles at the top of Tray 1 and at the
bottom-right side of the printer (or the
handles at the bottom of the duplex
unit if it is installed).
Even if an optional media tray is
installed, be sure to lift the printer as
described above. Do not grasp the grip of Tray 2 or the cover on its right
side; otherwise, the media tray may be damaged.
WARNING!
If you get toner in your eyes, wash it out immediately with cool water and
consult a doctor. Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) information can be
found at www.minolta-qms.com (click on the Answer Base).
If you get toner on your skin, wash it off with cool water and neutral
detergent.
If you get toner on your clothes, lightly dust them off as much as possible.
If some toner remains on your clothes, use cool — not hot — water to
rinse the toner off, provided your clothing is washable.
Make sure any parts removed during cleaning are replaced before you
plug in the printer.
