System Management Submenu
The system management submenu provides eight fields that allow you to
set system management characteristics. Table 20 lists the fields and the
options for each.

Console Redirection Submenu
The console redirection submenu provides four fields that allow you to
control the redirection of system management data to a remote console.
Table 21 lists the fields and the options for each.

Description
Enabled loads the Server Management Interrupt
handler, which handles system errors.
Enabled forces the BIOS and the BMC to log
system events.
Enabled clears the system event log.
Enabled generates a nonmaskable interrupt (NMI)
on an address parity error (AERR).
Enabled generates an NMI on a bus error (BERR).
Enabled generates an NMI on a parity error (PERR).
To activate this feature, the system error (SERR)
option must be enabled.
Enabled generates an NMI on a SERR.
Enables host single-bit errors (SBEs) and multiple-
bit errors (MBEs).
Description
When enabled, console redirection uses the I/O
port specified.
When disabled, console redirection is
completely disabled.
When console redirection is enabled, this field
displays the IRQ assigned based on the
address chosen in the COM Port Address field.
