Sending a Delayed Fax from Memory
1 Load your documents. Select resolution and contrast if needed.
2 Press the Select Function key.
3 Press the 1/Delayed TX One Touch key. The display will show DELAYED TX and todays date.
4 If you want to change the date, press the No >key. The display will show PRG. START DATE.
Otherwise, press the Yes < key and proceed to Step 6.
5 Using the numeric keypad, enter the date you wish the transmission to begin (up to three days in
advance). Press the Yes < key when you are finished.
6 The display will show PRG. START TIME. Using the numeric keypad, enter the time you wish the
transmission to begin.
Tip:
Be sure to enter the time using a 24-hour clock (i.e., 8:00 a.m. would be entered as 08:00, and
8:00 p.m. would be entered as 20:00).
7 Press the Yes < key. The display will show BROADCAST/MEMORY TX.
8 Press the Yes < key. The display will show BROADCAST/MEMORY TX SELECT LOCATION(S).
9 Select locations using the instructions below.
Press the Yes < key after each location to lock in that location. You can enter up to 50 locations
using One Touch, Auto Dial and group locations, plus five locations dialed from the numeric
keypad.
10 When you are finished selecting locations, press the No > key. The display will show CONFIRM
BY REPORT.
11 If you want to see a report of the locations you have programmed, press the Yes < key. If you do
not want to print a report, press the No > key.
12 The display will show SCANNING START?
- If you are ready to scan your documents, press the Start key.
- If you want to add more locations, press the No > key.
- If you want to make corrections, press the NO > key and go back to Step 9. To remove a location,
select the location in the same way, but press the NO > key to delete it from your transmission.
- When you have finished editing locations, return to Step 11.A group number Press # on the
numeric keypad, then select the number of the programmed group.
13 The display will show TX TIMEÝ05/18 8:52 on the second line while your fax machine waits to
send the document. If multiple delayed transmissions from memory are set, the one scheduled to
be sent first will show in the display.
Tip:
You can program up to five delayed transmissions from memory and still use your fax machine
