By removing the rubber plug in the face plate cover, adjustment can be performed with-
out removing the face plate cover.
1) Loosen setscrews 2 located on the rght and
left sdes of feed bracket 1 . Movng cloth
presser lnk 3 to the drecton a wll decrease
the heght of the feedng frame.
2) After the adjustment of the heght of the feed-
ng frame, securely tghten the screws 2 .
* turn oN the power once, and turn oFF the
power again after making the intermediate
presser in the lowered state.
1) Remove face cover.
2) Turn handwheel to make the needle bar come
down to ts lowest pont.
3) Loosen hnge screw 1 and move t to the d-
recton a to ncrease the stroke.
4) When marker dot A s algned wth the rght
sde of the outer perphery of washer 2 , the
vertcal stroke of the ntermedate presser
becomes 4 mm. And, when marker dot B s
algned wth the rght sde of the outer perphery
of the washer, t becomes 7 mm. (The vertcal
stroke of the ntermedate presser s factory-set
to 4 mm at the tme of delvery.)
