Web Tools

When using the Switch View, you are actually accessing Web Tools.
For more information on Web Tools, refer to the appropriate version of the Web Tools User's Guide.
Access
To access Web Tools:
1. Enter Fabric Manager.
The Switch window (or view) appears as part of the main Fabric View. See
3-1.
2. Select an individual switch icon.
Web Tools launches, as shown in
Capabilities
The Switch View, or Web Tools, provides a graphical interface that allows the administrator to
monitor and manage individual switches and ports from a standard workstation. All switches in the
fabric are displayed in the main window of Web Tools.

The options available in the Switch View will vary depending on the version of Web Tools
that is installed on the individual switch.
