Using Diagnostics and Tools
Setting Exception Handling
Exception handling lets you set the message level for any exceptions that are
reported.
1. In Command View NAS, click the Support tab.
2. Under Diagnostics and Tools, select Exception Handling.
3. Select Actions > Edit Debug Level Mode, then choose either:

Viewing Command View NAS Logs
The NAS device records information and problems in the Command View NAS
logs. If you contact support about a problem with your system, you may be asked
to provide these log files.
Client Side Log
To view the client side log:
1. In Command View NAS, click the Support tab.
2. Under Diagnostics and Tools, select Command View Logs > Client Side.
3. Select the log file of interest, then select Actions > View Selected File. The

— Terse to hide the stack trace (default). This brief message provides only
the essential basics of the problem.
— Verbose to display the full stack trace. This level of messaging provides
helpful information for diagnosing a problem.
