If you are upgrading a NAS 8000 server that is joined to a NIS domain, the NIS
users will not be visible until the NAS 8000 has been removed from the NIS
domain and added again.
1. In Command View NAS, click the Configuration tab.
2. Under Networking Settings, select UNIX Settings.
3. Select Actions > Edit NIS Properties.
4. Check Disable NIS, then click OK.
5. Select Actions > Edit NIS Properties.
6. Check Enable NIS.
7. Click OK.
All NIS users should now be visible to the NAS 8000 server.
