You can log in to the NAS server using a serial connection or telnet.

— serial connection, use a terminal emulator with the following settings:
Bits per second: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None
— telnet, execute the following on a remote computer:
telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the NAS 8000 system.
a. Press Enter until you see the system name and login prompt.

b. Log in as admin. If you set an administrative password, you need to enter
it when prompted.
