Remote 1 /2/3/4 Code Switching
The Remote is capable of controlling four JVC video units
independently. Each of the units can respond to one of four
codes (1,2, 3 or 4). The Remote is preset to send 3 code signals
because your unit is initially set to respond to 3 code signals.
You can easily modify your unit to respond to 1,2 or 4 code
signals.

On the Remote

Change the remotecontrol c ode.
Press the number key "1" for 1, "2" for 2, "3" for 3 or
"4" for 4.
I_lset the remotecontrol c ode.
Press ENTER to set the
code.
On the unit
_1 Turn off the unit.
Press t5/I on the unit.
L_e Displaythe code.
Press li,- on the unit for over 5 seconds while the unit is
turned off.
• The code currently set appears on the front display panel.
_ Change the unit'scode.
Press • on the Remote.
• The code currently set on the Remote blinks on the front
display panel for approximately 5 seconds, and is applied to
the unit.
NOTE:
When "POWER SAVE" is set to "ON" (ZY° pg. 99), it is not
possible to change the remote code.
