lb timer-record a satellite broadcast using the On-Disc Timer
Programing function:
[] Perform "Cable Box Control Setting" (_-u" pg. 29) or "DBS
Receiver Control Setting" (_€_ pg. 32).
[] Perform "On-Disc Timer Programing'.
[] Leave the Cable Box or DBS receiver's power on.

Loadthe disc.

[] Place the programed disc on the disc tray.

Engage the unit'stimer mode.

• lo disengage the timer mode, press DVD cb/I again.
NOTES:
• Even if On-Disc Timer Programing is overlapping with other
timer programing, any caution message does not appear. In
such a case, recording will be executed in the descending
order of the recording start time of the program.
• On-Disc Timer Programing is not possible on a DVD-RW disc
formatted in video mode. {£_ pg. 101, "Format a DVD-RW
disc")
• The information of a program recorded with On-Disc Timer
Programing is not stored in the library. (_-_" pg. 82)
• The play list is not created for the programs recorded with On-
Disc Timer Programing. (£_ pg. 78)
• VCR Plus+ Timer Programing is not possible on the discs used
exclusively for On-Disc Timer Programing.
• Manual Timer Programing is not possible on the On-Disc
Timer Programed disc. (_ pg. 64)
• Basic Recording is not possible on the On-Disc Timer
Programed disc. (£_ pg. 57)
• The On-Disc Timer Programing function does not work on the
unit form other manufactures even if the On-Disc Timer
Programed disc is loaded.
• The beginning of a program may not be recorded. Also, if the
1 st program's recording stop time and the 2nd program's
recording start time is the same, the ending of the I st program
may not be recorded.
• If there is a power cut while recording, the recordings before
the power cut are not guaranteed.
