Create PlayList
Turnon the unit.
On the unit
Press t5/I.
On the Remote
Press DVD t5/I.
e Turn oil the TV and select the AV mode.
e Slide the TV/CABLE/DBS/DVD switch to DVD.

IIPlay List
It is a (ollection of the scenes. A play list can be freely edited
and played back without ever changing any original recording
data.
Using the random access of a DVD disc (which allows video
data to be instantly read no matter where it is on the disc), a play
list includes information such as the timer counter for the
playback start point and end point, indexes for checking the
contents of recorded data, category information, and more.
Playback according to a play list you have created allows you to
enjoy various combinations of video images from a single
program.
| Loadadisc.
[] Press A to open the disc tray.
[] Place a DVD-RAM or DVD-RW (VR mode) disc that
was recorded with this unit on the disc tray.
• For details, refer to "Placing a Disc" (_" pg. 11).
[] Press A to close the disc tray.
I_1 Access the Play Listscreen.
[] Press NAVIGATION. [-he library Database DV[) Navi
screen appears.
[] Press/\V <1 _ to move the arrow to "PEAY IJSI",
then press _ or ENTER.
Createa playlist.
Press z'_sV <" b to move the arrow to "CREATE", then
press ENTER.
_ Start playback.
Press I1_ to start playback. The playback pictures appear
in the window on the screen. The elapsed playing time
starts counting with the arrow on "IN".
• To locate the beginning of other titles, press 141_1/1_1_1.
_]Set edit-in andedit-outpoints.
[] Find the point where you
want the created play list .....
to begin, then press
ENTER with the arrow on
"IN". The edit-in time is
fixed and the elapsed
playing time starts
counting again.
[] Find the point where you want the created play list to
end, then press ENTER with the arrow on "OUT". The
edit-out time is fixed.
• Press _1-_1,I_, 1_1_, I_1_1,I_1_1or II to find the edit-in and
edit-out points.
• The edit-out point must come after the edit-in point.
_ Confirmtheplay list.
[] Press <" _ to move the arrow to "PREVIEW", then
press ENTER to preview the play list.
[] Press < _ to select "EXECUTE", then press ENTER.
• The play list is created.
