Deleteprogram
You cannot record any more with Library Database DVD Navi
once the registered programs on the disc reach 99 programs.
Deleting unnecessary programs after dubbing (_-_"pg. 89, "Edit
]b Or From Another Recorder") or other operations can increase
remaining time and available recording capacity. (For DVD-R
discs, although it is possible to delete recorded programs,
available recording capacity does not increase.) The deleted
program is never resumed. Play lists and program information in
the unit's library are also deleted.
Perform steps [] to [] of "Modify Index" (z_ =_ pg, 75) before
continuing.
Selecta program.
Press _ _ to move the an-ow to select one program you
want to delete, then press V.
_ Access the deletescreen.
Press/",V < P" to move the arrow to "DEI.ETE", then
press ENTEr. The message appears for your confirmation.
I_1 Confirmthe deletion.
Press < _ to select "YES", then press ENTER.
• When you cancel the deletion, select "NO", then press
ENTER.
Returnto thenormal s creen.
Press NAVIGATION.
Deleteunwanted partof theprogram
You can delete unwanted part of the program.
Perform steps [] to [] of "Modify Index" (z_ ° pg. 75) before
continuing.
L_eset edit-in andedit-outpoints.
[] Find the point where you want the deletion to end,
then press ENTER with the arrow on "OUT". ]he edit-
out time is fixed.
• Press _1-_1,I_, 1_11% I_1_1,I_1_1or II to find the edit-in and
edit-out points.
_ Confirmthedeletion.
[] Press/",V <[ P" to move the arrow to "PREVIEW", then
press ENTEr to preview the edited program.
[] Press/",V <[ b- to select "EXECUTE", then press
ENTER.
• If you do not want to delete the scene, select "CLEAR" and
press ENTER.
[] Press <" _ to select "YES", then press ENTEr.
• The selected scene is deleted.
• To cancel the deletion, press _ b > to select "NO", then press
ENTER.
To modify the points
[] Press <" P" to move the arrow to "CLEAR", then press
ENTER.
[] Repeat step [] - [].
_J Returnto the normalscreen.
Press NAVIGATION.
NOTES:
• There may be a discrepancy of several seconds between the
scene you intend to edit, and the scene which is actually
edited.
• Available recording capacity may not match the deleted part
after deletion.
Selecta program.
Press < _ to move the arrow to select one program
whose unwanted part you want to delete, then press V.
_ Access the deletescreen.
Press <" P" to move the arrow to "EDFF[NG', then press
ENTER.
Start playback.
Press I_ to start playback. The playback pirtures appear
in the window on the screen. [-he elapsed playing time
starts counting with the arrow on "IN'.
