Tochange the settings
You can dlange the Parental lock settings later.
Perform steps [] to [] of "1o set Parental Lock for the first
time" on [)age 53 to access the "PARENTAL LOCK" screen
before continuing.
Totemporarily releaseParental L ock
When you set the parental lock level strictly, some discs may not
be played back at all. When you insert such a disc and try to
play it back, the confirmation screen appears on the TV screen,
asking you whether you want Parental Lock to be temporarily
release(] or not.
Change the level.
[] Press/\V repeatedly to select "PARENTAE LEVEL",
then press ENTER.
[] Press i\V repeatedly to select the desired level, then
press ENTER.
_ Change the countrycode.
[] Press i\V repeatedly to select "COUNTRY CODE",
then press ENTER.
[] Press i\V repeatedly to select your country code, then
press ENTEr.

I_lEnter yourpassword.
Press the number keys to enter the same password as in
step [] of "lo set Parental lock for the first time", then
press ENTER.
L_e Complete the setting.
Press SET UP twice.
• The normal screen resumes.
Access the passwordscreen.
[] Place the disc on the disc tray.
• [f the disc is rate(] higher than the selected level, the
confirmation screen appears.
[] Press < _" to select "YES", then press ENTER,
• If you select "NO", you cannot play back that disc.
_Enter yourpassword.
Press the number keys to enter the same password as in
step [] of "lo set Parental lock for the first time", then
press ENTER.

the Parental Lock is
released an(] the unit starts playback.
• [f you enter a wrong password, "ENTRY ERROR RETRY"
appears on the TV screen. Enter the correct password.
• If you have successively entered wrong password three times,
"ENTRY ERROR CAN NOT CHANGE PASSWORD" appears
on the TV screen. In such a case, press ENTER, The disc will
stop. Then play the disc again, and try the procedure again
from step [].
