Step 4. Rotate the drive tray handle of the drive assembly to the open position.
Step 5. Grasp the handle of the drive and pull the drive out of the bay.

Step 6. If you are instructed to return the 3.5-inch hot-swap hard disk drive, follow all packaging
instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Before installing a 3.5–inch hot-swap hard disk drive, read the following information:
• The 3.5–inch hot-swap drives must be either all SAS hard disk drives or all SATA hard disk drives; do
not mix SAS and SATA drives.
