NOTE:
During a power outage there is no need to use battery backup to answer calls
if the MERLIN Attendant shares an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with
the MERLIN LEGEND system control unit. If a UPS is not being used with the
control unit, during a power failure incoming calls cannot be answered by the
system and therefore cannot be directed to the MERLIN Attendant.
