Console Redirection Screen
The Console Redirection screen allows the user to enable or disable console redirection and to
configure the connection options for this feature.
To access this screen from the Main screen, select Server Management > Console
Redirection.

Enabled
If enabled, the BIOS programs the watchdog timer
with the timeout value selected. If the OS does not

complete booting before the timer expires, the BMC
resets the system and an error is logged.
Requires OS support or Intel Management Software.
Power Off
If the OS boot watchdog timer is enabled, this is the
system action taken if the watchdog timer expires.
Reset
[Reset] - System performs a reset.
[Power Off] - System powers off.

If the OS watchdog timer is enabled, this is the
timeout value used by the BIOS to configure the
10 minutes
watchdog timer.

Enabled
If enabled, the BMC is detectable by OSs that support
plug and play loading of an IPMI driver. Do not enable
