Explanation
Retire the Device from the Zone: Makes all ZENworks operations
ineffective on the managed device. However, the ZENworks
Adaptive Agent is not uninstalled and the device continues to be
registered in the Management Zone. This option is available only for
a managed device.
Uninstall the ZENworks Agent and Unregister the Device from
the Zone: Uninstalls ZENworks Adaptive Agent from the device and
removes the device from the Management Zone.
NOTE: Ensure that you have the permission to uninstall the
ZENworks Adaptive Agent. The Allow Users to Uninstall Agent
option must be selected by the zone administrator in ZENworks
Control Center (the Configuration tab > Management Zone Settings
> Device Management > ZENworks Agent > General).
Uninstall the ZENworks Server and Unregister the Device from
the Zone: Uninstalls the ZENworks Server from the device.
WARNING: If this device hosts the Management Zone, then the
zone is also removed.
Transfer the Device to Another Zone: Unregisters the managed
device from the existing zone and reregisters it to the new
Management Zone. This option is available only for the managed
device.
If you select the Transfer the Device to Another Zone option, then the
New Zone Information page is displayed.
Demote the Satellite Server: Demotes the Satellite to a managed
device and removes all the roles assigned to the server. This option
is available only for the Satellite.
This page is displayed only if the Transfer the Device to Another Zone
option is selected in the Actions page.
Configure the following settings:
New Primary Server: Specify the IP address of the new Primary server in
the following format:
https:// IP_address or DNS_name_of_the_server:port_number
NOTE: You must specify the port number if you are not using the default
port.
Username: Specify the username. By default, the username is
administrator .
Password: Specify the password for the ZENworks administrative user
specified in the Username field.
