System Restore

If your preinstalled software becomes unusable and you cannot reboot from
the hard disk, you can use the Restore CD to restore your system to its ini-
tial shipping configuration.

System Restore erases the hard disk completely before reinstalling the files.
A Full System Restore deletes ALL files on the hard drive and re-
places them with the original factory installed files.
Only use a Full System Recovery if the preinstalled software is un-
usable. If you are unsure about using this procedure, call the NEC
Technical Support Center (TSC). TSC representatives will help you
determine if this is your situation. See "Getting Help" at the end of
this chapter for the technical support telephone number.
