BIOS Setup Utility

The BIOS Setup utility configures system parameters. The parameters are saved
in nonvolatile memory in a CMOS chip backed by a battery on the system
board. The battery supplies continuous power to maintain parameter
configuration information when system power is off.
Note:
battery, print out or write down the current setup parameter
settings and store in a safe place. Use this information to
restore the system to the current parameters if a wrong
setting is made or if the battery needs replacement (see
Section 3 for battery replacement).
