Output signal in case of a lost echo.
• Last valid value
• Ramp at echo lost

Meaning of the options
• Last valid value
The last valid value is kept in the case of a lost echo.

• Ramp at echo lost
In the case of a lost echo the output value is continously shifted towards 0% or 100%.
The slope of the ramp is defined in the Ramp at echo lost parameter (→  138).

• Value echo lost
In the case of a lost echo the output assumes the value defined in the Value echo lost
parameter (→  137).
• Alarm
In the case of a lost echo the device generates an alarm; see the Failure mode parameter
(→  148)

Output echo lost (→  137) = Value echo lost
Output value in case of a lost echo
0 to 200 000.0 %
Use the unit which has been defined for the measured value output:
• without linearization: Level unit (→  125)
• with linearization: Unit after linearization (→  131)
