Now ha you have eamed how o load a file, selec blocks and record
files, na urally you wan o play hem. Unless a file is loaded in memory,
he only op ion available is playing from disk. Before playing a file,
however, you migh wan o check and se he volume level.
Setting Volume

To se volume:
1. Selec Volume from he Main menu.
2. When he op ion menu pops down, selec one of he following:
■ Mas er — You need o se he mas er volume con rol o
an audible level before individual volume con rols can
ake effec .
■ Voice — Con rols voice ou pu .
■ £Disc — Con rols CD Player. You canno con rol lef
and righ volume separa ely.
■ Line In — Con rols devices connec ed o he Line-in
jack.

Important
Set the manual volume control located on the back of the Sound Blaster
ro card to at least mid range for software volume controls to take effect.
The software volume controls have a range of 0 to 15.
Playing from
Disk
To play from disk:
1. Selec From Bisk in he op ion menu
2. When he Direc ory/Drive Screen displays, selec a file.
3. Selec pk.
4. To s op playing, selec S op on he curren screen.
No e: Playing a file from disk does no affec a file loaded in memory.
