Using the
Voice
Program
To use Voice:
1.
Change o he \SBPRO\SBSIM subdirec ory.
2.
Type SBSIM and press Enter.
3.
Type VOICE along wi h any of he following op ions.
Voice Options
You can specify one or more of ire following op ions or swi ches. The
program processes hese op ions from lef o righ . Some of he op ions
require addi ional parame ers.
Option
Description
/Debug
This op ions urns on he debug mode. Error
messages are no displayed on unless his
op ion is se
o ON. Usually, his op ion pre
cedes o her op ions and displays error messages
for o her op ions in he command line.
/OUT:filename
This op ion plays he voice file specified by
filename. The pa h mus be specified if he voice
file is no in he same direc ory. Defaul . VOC file
ex ension is used if one is no specified.
IOUTX:SBSIMhandle
Plays voice da a from ex ended memory ha
was loaded in o he reques ed SBSIM handle.
CT-VOICE mus be loaded wi h ex ended
memory suppor indica ed.
IWAIT:marker
Le s program wai un il a marker value is en
coun ered in he voice file, or un il he voice
ou pu ends. Such markers can be inser ed in o
he VOC file using he Voice Edi or or Voice
U ili ies (Chap ers 4 and 5).
/STOP
S ops playing of voice file.
/PAUSE
Pauses playing voice file. The
/CO TI UE
op ions resumes playback.
/CO TI UE
Resumes paused voice file.
ISPEAKER:on / off
Turns speakers ON or O
