Learn Mode
SOUND BLASTER
You en er he Learn Mode by pressing F8 from he Main menu and hen
pressing Fl. The Learn Mode is an easy way o learn o play any organ
song wi hou becoming bogged down in music heory. I shows you how
he song's no es are en ered on he dPC keyboard.
To lean a song:
1. Press F6 o load a song ha you wan o learn.
2. Now press F8 and Fl o en er he Learn Mode.
3. Press Fl (demo) again o see a demons ra ion of how he keys ar
yped.
4. Press F2 (learn). This highligh s in brown he upper half of he
key. This is he warning signal for you o ge ready o press his
key. When he bar urn purple and drows o he bo om half of he
key, his is he exac ime you mus press he key. If you do no
press he key in ime, he song will wai , un il you press he correc
key.
By prac ising a song repea edly, i won' be long before you can play
wi hou assis ance. If you have neverplayed amusical ins rumen before,
ry i now, i can b e really exci ing.
Using the
IDI ode
The FM In elligen Organ suppor s he MIDI in erface of he Sound
Blas er Pro card. Using he MIDI in erface, you can play he FM
In elligen Organ using a normal organ keyboard. You can play wi h one
hand and have he In elligen Organ add he accompanimen s for you.
To use he MIDI Mode
1. You need o ge an elec ronic organ keyboard or syn hesizer ha
has a MIDI in erface. Use Crea ive's MIDI Ki o connnec he
MIDI ins rumen .
2. Connec he MIDI Ki o he Joys ick Connec or on he Sound
Blas er Pro card.
3. Plug he MIDI cable from he MIDI-IN on he MIDI Ki o he
MIDI-OUT on he MIDI keyboard.
4. Swi ch on he MIDI keyboard and se i o MIDI mode (Refer o
your MIDI ins rumen 's manual for de ails).
