Edi or II le s you record, play, enhance, change and arrange sounds o sui
your needs. You can selec from differen sound sources, such as mi
crophone, Line-in and CD player. You can also add markers and ASCII
ex o your sound samples for use in o her mul imedia and in erac ive
sof ware applica ions.

Change o he C:\SBPRO direc ory and ype VEDIT2 [IB.nn]
and press Enter.
Note: IBtnn in he bracke s (do no ype bracke s) is op ional and le s you
se he buffer size for playing from disk by en ering a number for nn in
2k uni s. If nn is no specified, i uses 16 as he defaul (32k by es). Playing
a voice from he diske e uses a double-buffering me hod. You ge a
smoo her sound if he buffer size is bigger.

When he Main Screen wi h Copyrigh Screen displays, press any
key or click he mouse bu on o remove he Copyrigh Screen.
Important
Both the keyboard and a Microsoft compatible mouse can access the
Voice Editor Il's menus. Voice Editor II utilizes only the left button.
Getting
Around
Voice Edi or D is no complica ed. I is a ma er of unders anding how o
use he keyboard or mouse, using he menu and selec ing op ions. Mos
op ions require li le or no explana ion. As you go hrough Voice Edi or
IPs menu sys em, we have provided de ailed explana ions where necessary .
However, you can go ahead and begin exploring Voice Edi or II now and
come back if you have a problem or ques ion.
