Removing
SBTALKER
SBTALKER s ays inmemory un il you remove i or reboo . You may no
be able o run o her applica ions wi h SBTALKER in memory.
To remove SBTALKER from memory:
1. Change o he \SBPRO\SBTALKER direc ory.
2. Type REMOVE and press Enter.
Important
To effectively remove SBTALKER, it must he the last program loaded in
memory.
Using EMS
Memory
SBTALKER au oma ically loads i self in o Expanded Memory (EMS
memory), if ire proper EMS driver is ins alled in he sys em. SBTALKER
is compa ible wi h mos EMS drivers on he marke . However, if you have
one ha doesn ' work properly wi h SBTALKER, i may be necessary o
remove his EMS driver o run SBTALKER.
Using the
Read
Program
READ can read ex yped a he DOS promp and ASCII ex files. Tex
can be en ered in ei her upper or lowercase. There are hree en ry forma s:
■ READ "ANY TEXT"
■ READ
■ READ <STAND ARD-INPUT [/W]
Note: The /W op ion displays ex being read. An example en ry would
be: READ <sbtest.txtM .
To have his program say " Hello, how are you? ' ' :
1. A he DOS promp ype RE AD " HELLO, HO WARE YOU? "
and press En er, (or ype: READ HELLO, HOW ARE YOU?
and press Enter.)
