Ifyou purchase a CD-ROM drive other than Creative's, do NOT attempt
to connect it to the Sound Blaster ro's interface. Doing so may damage
your CD-ROM drive.
If you already own a differen brand CD-ROM drive, you can connec
your CD-ROM's drive's audio ou o he line-ion of he Sound Blas er Pro
card. An in ernal CD-ROM audio inpu is available on he card also.
However, before a emp ing o use he in ernal connec ion, ensure you
have he correc connec or. (See illus ra ion on page 1 -5 for loca ion of
connec or pins.)

Jus selec he sound or music card from he ins alla ion menu or follow
ins ruc ion found in he manual. For sof ware ha is already ins alled, in
some cases, you may need o reins all he sof ware o selec he correc
sound card. The sound or music card is usually one of he following:
