Al hough you are anxious o s ar using your new Sound Blas er Pro Card
as soon as possible, ake a few minu es o read hese firs few pages o
preven problems from arising due o sof ware or hardware conflic s.
Also, before you have ins alled he card and sof ware, you may wan o
check he Readme file on he diske e Sound Blas er Pro Disk #1 for
any las minu e changes or correc ions no con ained in his manual.
Place he diske e in you disk drive and ype README o view he file.
Important
This manual assumes a certain degree of computer knowledge and
understanding of DOS. Refer to your DOS manual for instructions in
making backup copies, making or changing directories and other DOS
operations.

■ IBM AT 286, 386, 486, PS/2 (models 25/30), Tandy AT and
100% compa ible.
■ EGA or VGA graphic card (VGA recommended).
■ 2.5MB of hard disk space.
No e: MMPlay sof ware requires a VGA adap or o run properly, all
o her bundled sof ware requires EGA graphics.
