Started
For Windows 3.0 users, we have included wo Sound Blas er Pro
applica ion programs o le you see and hear how easily he Sound Blas er
Pro in egra es wi h Windows 3.0. We have also included SETUP o help
you make he necessary Sound Blas er Pro se ings in he Windows 3.0
WIN.INI file.
Important
If you are interested in developing Windows 3.0 applications, check with
your dealer or distributor for Windows SBK (Sound Blaster Developer
Kit). This kit provides all the information you need to add the impact of
Sound Blaster ro audio to your Windows programs.
Na urally, running hese programs requires Microsof Windows 3.0
ins alled in your sys em. The programs included are:

■ Sound Blaster Pro Mixer Control
■ Setup
Installation
Ins alla ion is rela ively easy. However, you need o follow hese ins ruc ­
ions closely. If you have any problem running hese applica ions, check
your ins alla ion.
Moving the DLL
The DLL (Dynamic-Link Library) is necessary for Windows applica ­
ions. We have included he Sound Blas er DLL (SNDBLST.DLL). You
should move he DLL o he Windows direc ory so you can use i wi h
o her Sound Blas er Pro Windows applica ions.
To move he DLL:
1. Change o he \SBPRO\WINDOWS subdirec ory.
2. Copy SNDBLST.DLL o he WINDOWS direc ory (Normally
his is in C:\WIND0WS).
3. Dele e he SNDBLST.DLL file in he \SBPRO\WINDOWS
subdirec ory.
