Previously, in the Hardware Setup section, you connected your TV device’s signal output to the inputs on the Video Blaster Digital VCR card. On this page, select the input where the TV sig- nal is connected. When finished, press the 1H[W button. Settings for the specific type of signals will be selected on the following pages.
The video input jack on the Video Blaster Digital VCR card accepts multiple types of signals. The exact format of the video signal (composite or S-Video) is selected on the next page of the Wizard.
WKH 5&$ FRQQHFWRU RXWSXW IRXQG RQ VRPH GHYLFHV WR WKLV MDFN Video Format Selection The video input jack on the Video Blaster Digital VCR card looks like a standard S-Video jack. It is actually a multipurpose connector; the software sets the signal type present at this jack.
SRZHUXS WKH FRPSXWHU check box is selected, this item will be greyed out. When checked, this means that the Video Blaster Digital VCR software will be launched as a service in the background when your PC is booted. To uncheck this option, first deselect the $XWRPDWLFDOO\ 3RZHUXS WKH &RPSXWHU check box.
Also included on this page is a set of Graphics Options. These settings can be used to set the default size and location of the Video Blaster Digital VCR display on your PC monitor. When the &KDQJH 'LVSOD\ 5HVROXWLRQ box is checked, the parameters set in the boxes below will be in force.
In a system with multiple hard drives, use this option to designate the specific hard drive where you want the Video Blaster Digital VCR to store your recorded files. This will be the default location for all recording and time shift files unless you specify an alternate location by running the Wizard again.
Wizard. Directory Path Setup On the selected hard drive, the Video Blaster Digital VCR software needs a default directory in which to store recorded programs. The default hard drive location is the “C” drive, or largest available drive, as noted above.
Click any tab in the left column to access a page. A copy of the Setup Wizard utility was placed in the Video Blaster Digital VCR program direc- tory by the installer. The file name is “dvsetup.exe”.
