ID-52A/E PLUS.
Android device
RS-MS1A: You can use the extended D-STAR
functions to exchange pictures or
messages or display the received
D-PRS station data on a map
application
RS-MS3A: You can use the DV Gateway function
ST-4001A: You can make an image to be used
for the Share Picture function, and
transfer it to the transceiver
iOS device
RS-MS1I: You can use the extended D-STAR
functions to exchange pictures or
messages or display the received
D-PRS station data on a map
application
ST-4001I: You can make an image to be used
for the Share Picture function, and
transfer it to the transceiver

Android device
You can use the RS-MS1A/RS-MS3A/ST-4001A with
devices that have Android 80 or later installed
L The applications have been tested with the Android
8.x/9/10/11/12/13/14. (As of July 2024)
iOS device
You can use the RS-MS1I/ST-4001I with devices that
have iOS version 12 or later, iPadOS version 13 or
later installed

When using a USB cable
• Android device
Android 80 or later with the USB host function
• USB cable (User supplied):
Confirm your USB cable meets following conditions:
- Fits the transceiver's USB port (Type-C) and your
device's USB port (Micro-B/Type-C)
L A shorter cable is preferable, as the longer one may
be unable to transfer the data
- The cable compatible with the USB host function
TIP: The USB host function is needed to use a USB
device with an Android device To check whether or
not your Android device has the USB host system,
ask the Android device's manufacturer
When using the Bluetooth function
• Android device or iOS device
Android 80 or later with the Bluetooth function
or
iOS version 12 or later, iPadOS version 13 or later
with the Bluetooth function
NOTE: Some functions may not work correctly,
• depending on other applications installed in the device
• depending on the memory capacity
