SCAN OPERATION

Scan Type

Scanning is a versatile function that can automatically search for signals� A scan makes it easier to locate stations
to contact or listen to, or to skip unwanted channels or frequencies�

DVFO scan

The VFO scan searches for signals within the
specified frequency range�
Full scan (ALL)
Repeatedly scans the entire band�
RX frequency

The Memory scan searches signals on the
preregistered memory channels�

Repeatedly scans all memory channels�
Memory Groups (00 ~ 99 and S: Skip CH)

Selected band scan (BAND)
Scans all memory channels on the same frequency
band as the selected channel�
Mode scan (MODE)
Scans memory channels that are entered with the
same operating mode as the currently selected mode�
L The Mode scan scans all memory groups�
(Group 00 ~ 99, S: SKIP CH)
Example: Scanning AM mode

Group link scan (GROUP LINK)
Sequentially scans the memory groups that are set to
link on the MENU screen�
